we are rocky point artisan brewers

by Donavan

I’m changing things up a bit here on this craft beer blog. Now that our local, community supported brewery is “coming out” I’ll start writing about our brewery and the Long Island beer scene from the perspective of a brewer, a beer artisan. So from here on out, in this space, you’ll get to follow the adventures of Mike, Yuri, and Donavan (me) as we make beer for the thirsty folks in our neighborhood.

If you want to stay on top of what’s going on with our brewery, check back here, or you can subscribe to our mailing list.

Great stuff! Looking forward to reading about your success, even if I never get to try your beer!

A friend of mine is opening a new bar in Queens (Jamaica South Richmond Hill area). The name of the place will be called Sky Bar And Lounge opening in early August. The owner of the new place needs some info on how to set up a tap system. What kind to get and where to get it from. I was thinking something similar to DEKS. I was talking to him about serving local fresh craft beer on tap.

Is the Rocky Point Artisinal Brewery officially open for business and where will the beer be served? Rocky Point and vicinity.

    Hello R.P.A.B.!

I found an article written about your business in the North Shore Sun while waiting for my son at the dentist today.
By coincidence, (no such thing) I have been home brewing for about 10 years, and have been unemployed for 14 months now…
I wanted to get in touch with you to at the very least have you sample my honey pilsner. My expertise was in accounting, I/T, and business management.
I can provide software, accounting, web mastering, search engine submittals,
help brew (which I love to do, I am a chef.) or provide what is missing in your plan.
I applied to Blue Point and they ignored me. I refused to give Sam Adams my recipe with their contest. My honey pilsner is wonderful, but more importantly, I have expertise to offer to your partnership with potential for capital investment to your business.
I live in Miller Place, and can no longer work “under the flourescent lights” of a typical business… I tried to look up your phone numbers in the white pages with no result.
No one works harder than I do, I believe in 150% commitment, am honest (which is why I am unemployed) and would like to speak with you. I am 56 years old, look like I am 36 and highly skilled. I am a chef, baker, brewer, carpenter, mason, and not satisfied sitting on my hands…If you are interested, call my home number at 631-828-8487.
Just give me a chance to meet you and you will understand why I am writing to you.
I believe in destiny, not coincidence.

    Thanks for your time.

    Sam
