beer guides plural
by DonavanI’ve been updating my beer guides. Did I say “guides”? Yes, I did. I am finally getting enough articles together to seed some Brooklyn and New York City guides. So far there are some place holder pages for Spuyten Duyvil, the Blind Tiger Ale House, and the Ginger Man. Oh yes, and I’m still working on the Long Island Craft Beer Guide. Updated entry for today: Village Beverage in Wading River. Also, I’m adding Long Island craft beer spots to BeerMapping.com. The latest addition is T.J. Finley’s in Bay Shore.

The new issue of Ale Street Newshas a good paragraph on DEKS restaurant. I just got the papper last night from my local beer distributor.
So many great bars and beer stores mentioned on your blogs. I just checked the Spuyten Duyvil website, a lot of good beers on tap like Boulder hazed and Infuzed and Sierra Nevada ESB that I’d like to try. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Walter. I should have said something about the new Ale Street News. If you squint hard enough, you can see me in one of those pictures on the first page of section B. We have Bernie Kilkelly to thank for the excellent coverage of the Long Island beer scene in the pages of ASN. His acknowledgments of Deks have really helped generate some interest in the growing beer culture on the North Shore of Long Island. I will keep up the good work!
